Found – A Diet that Really Works

pear and tape measureI bet you have heard that statement before! Those of you who have been brave enough to try diets and even stick to them have probably seen the results for a while only to have them disappear a short time later. During the diet you have probably also felt like you were starving yourselves and a general feeling that something was missing (Chocolate! – Beeble). This type of dieting is sometimes referred to as yo-yo dieting as your scales will be going up and down as you gain and lose weight. Not only are the majority of diets bad for you as they work on depriving the body of its natural needs but they are also bad for your mind: promising to give so much and delivering so little (very disheartening – Beeble). This is not to say that no other diet works. You see we are all different and what works for some doesn’t always work for others. But I truly feel that there has to come a point where we have to stop and say most dieting is just not healthy.

Our Diets: The Good and Bad

After my extensive training I was informed about the importance of a wholefood diet. This was easy for me to take on board as my parents bought me up on that same system. For me it was just food and explaining this to my clients wasn’t always easy. There seems to be some sort of belief that we have to torture our bodies to see results. Not true. Of course there will have to be changes and healthy food is what it is all about, but I promise you the results are well worth it. My clients knew exercise was going to help, after all that is instilled into us at a very young age, but attitudes to diet are less easy to change. Our eating habits are controlled (or not in some cases – Beeble) by our parents. This means we learn about the basics from our loving parents. If they can only be bothered to cook endless meals of chips and fried food then that is what we learn to eat. Schools may cover the subject briefly but the food they supply is worse in some cases than prison food. They also supply name branded sodas to all their students. The majority of us don’t have the best start in life so proper health education is the most important step.

Where can I get help?

In my mission to get as many people educated as possible, I felt it was important to get some back-up for my belief system and after extensive research I came across a book called ‘The Food Doctor Diet’ written by a guy called Ian Marber and his book backed up what I truly believe is the only way to a healthier fitter you. The best news is that he is now offering online diets, help and advice.

Go to http://fooddoctor.genesant.com to learn more about eating healthily to attain your desired goals. I promise if you take it up you will not be disappointed; I have read his books and he really has a great way of getting the message across. It will help you understand that your body has needs and how to balance those needs with life enjoyment. The online diet also offers fitness instructions and illustrations and as you will know by now I am very keen on fitness being a vital part of our lives. In my opinion it is important to get your diet advice from guys like these and get you’re your fitness advice elsewhere (like here at Beebleblog.com – Beeble) or anyone of my links and blogrolls from people who specialize in exercise.

Good luck with it and as always I would really like to hear how it goes for you if you decide to take my advice and go for the diet. If you know of any other diets you would like me to take a look at then please contact me or leave a comment by clicking on the comments link below.
