The last day of the week and whilst aching all over now I am feeling really good about myself. I know you always hear about good endorphins being released and that what gives you the feel-good factor after exercise. However in this case I would disagree as all my good feelings are coming from a sense of achievement. Admittedly it is only the first week of many more to come, but I’m feeling great and that is what counts.
Shoulders and Stomach
Today was shoulders and stomach which is a slightly shorter program than the others of the week. This was a deliberate design by my slave driver of a wife who thought it would make sense to make the last day of the week easier so that I didn’t find an excuse not to do it. So little faith! However I am very grateful as I do tend to look for excuses on a Friday. I pushed hard throughout the routine and really enjoyed it. It is amazing how much more enjoyable exercise is without a hangover!
Still so weak
The toughest exercise of the day was the dumbbell front raise, mainly because it was the last shoulder exercise and my shoulders by this point had turned to jelly having been completely fatigued by the previous 2 exercises. Apart from that I really enjoyed myself, which is important if I want to walk into the gym on Monday with my head held high.
If you would like to join me on my journey to regain my fitness and yours, you will be very welcome . You can do this by joining gyminee.com for free and then joining my group which is also free where you can find my programs by clicking here.
Change of routine next month
I will not be writing about my progress again until next month when the routine changes. Until then I will be repeating the first five days’ exercises. When the new month and program starts I will write the whole week again and let you know how things are coming along. Also if I have experienced any physical, wellbeing or fitness changes you will be updated.
Good luck with your training and I will touch base with you all again next month. In the mean time you will be able to continue to read all the top tips and advice that I will continue to preach about.
