Learn how to do exercises with perfect technique at Beeblefitness.com
This is a very exciting time for the team at beebleblog and probably quite a rare occasion on the world wide web: a blog expanding to a website rather than the more usual way round of a website adding a blog. We are very excited at the moment because we have just released beeblefitness.com which at the moment is the location of our brand new Exercise Library where you can even learn how to ride your bike!
Why start an Exercise Library?
During our time producing this blog we have wanted to write about a wide range of exercises that are available to everyone who has access to even the most basic equipment. However we kept coming across the same problem: finding a decent site, picture, video and explanation of every exercise. Constantly we were let down by poor descriptions, lack of knowledge and pictures showing bad technique. The end result was that we had to produce our own pictures and videos to help explain what we were trying to get across.
This gave us an idea…..if we have this many problems finding decent guides for exercises then so must other people. So we have created a comprehensive guide to exercises with clear pictures and videos as well as easy to follow descriptions at our brand new website called beeblefitness.com
What will you find?
We have a user-friendly search so you can find exactly the right exercise that you are interested in. There are also 3 different ways to search for that exercise:
Basic Search: This allows you to search for an exercise that works a particular area of your body. For example the muscle areas we have covered are: shoulders, chest, back, arms, legs and abdominals – and by picking any one of these you will be shown every exercise that works that particular body part.
Advanced Search: This goes into more detail than the basic search by letting you look for exercises that cover a particular muscle. So for example you can enter the biceps muscle and you will be shown every exercise we have to train your biceps. We have every major muscle covered and will be including even more as we add more exercises.
Name Search: If you know the name of the exercise you want to learn about, then you can add it into our search at the top of every page and you will be taken to every match we have for that name. Very useful if you want to quickly learn how to perform an exercise.
The Result Pages
Every exercise has its very own result page which will give you all the information you will need to perform the exercise safely. The page includes:
- A video showing you exactly how to perform the exercise
- An in-depth description of how to perform the exercise with perfect technique
- The key do’s and don’ts of the exercise so you know what to avoid and what to focus on
- A list of exercise equipment you will need
- Extra reading on subjects closely related to that exercise from our very own beebleblog.com
- A muscle diagram showing you exactly which muscles are being used and where they are on the body
- And for you bloggers the ability to use our videos on your site
With all this information at your disposal you will go on to perform the exercise with perfect technique and you will know everything necessary about that exercise and its effects on your body.
A Video Example
Here is an example of one of our videos. This one shows the bicep curl with dumbbells with perfect technique, naturally!
Why is perfect technique so important?
Getting your technique perfect for every exercise is hugely important if you want to avoid injuring yourself. By using bad technique you can injure yourself even over a long period of time by creating weaknesses and unevenness in your body. Good technique is also very important and if you want to get the very most out of your training then you must use perfect technique. If you don’t then you greatly reduce the benefits of the exercise and won’t see the results you want as quickly.
Go on – have a look!
Go and have a look at our site now and let us know what you think. It will be constantly growing and developing (a bit like our bodies – Beeble) to give you as much information as possible so that you can head to your gym full of knowledge. We really hope you like it, good luck with your training and exercises and enjoy using our New Exercise Library.

Excellent resource! I hope you don’t mind if I link to this from my website Men’s Total Fitness? It is so important that people be shown proper form and technique while exercising. Doing an exercise wrong will not yield you any benefit at the least, or at worst will get you a nasty injury in some cases.

Hey Hugo. Just a quick message to let you know I think your Exercise Library is excellent. I will definitely be posting about it at some point in the near future.

This is a great resource, especially for beginners.
People that start exercising without using proper form and technique develop bad habits that can cause injuries. I think we all see those guys/gals in the gym that just don’t know what they’re doing. I always feel like giving them help but it can be awkward.
I’d much rather send them this information.
