Beeble’s Diet Tools
Just in case you thought we had been quiet for a while don’t worry, Beeble has been working us hard to get you some diet tools. After studying our website recently like obsessed personal trainers that we are, we realised that we were very one-sided towards fitness. If you have learnt anything from reading our website then you should know by now that your dream body cannot be achieved by fitness or diet alone. So we have created Beeble’s Diet Tools to help you with your fuel consumption.
What calculators do we have?
Food search
At present we have a food search which allows you to find out the full nutritional content of any food you can think of. All right, maybe not every single food but we have all the main ones as well as drinks. All you need to do is pick the category that is closest to the food you are looking for and then enter one keyword that best describes your food choice. You will then be presented with a list of which we hope there is at least one that matches the food you are hunting for. Once selected you will be presented with all the nutritional contents for 100 grams. Naturally we realise that having 100 grams of sesame seeds is somewhat different to 100 grams of chicken as far as consumable quantities go. Therefore we have also created the facility to add the weight you want and as if by magic all the nutritional content will change to that selected weight.
Nutritional search
Now this works slightly differently from the first calculator as this time your interest will just be in the nutrients themselves. So for all those budding body builders who want to find the greatest source of protein you can use our calculator to find the top one hundred foods that have the highest content of protein. We don’t just stop at protein though, no we have thought about this properly and we have the top one hundred foods for every nutrient we could think of. This is going to be useful if you are fed up with having supplements that don’t do the job properly and want to source your nutrient from real food. We have also included all the bad nutrients so you can find out which foods you should be avoiding: for example we have listed the top 100 foods that are high in saturated fats
What is next?
